Bernadette George, a pioneer in skin care since 1978, has developed a special sanctuary where her guests can relax and receive all forms of progressive beauty services including  clinical skin care, spa & beauty treatments, manicures & pedicures & medical aesthetics.

Bernadette, Medical Aesthetician specializes in skin resurfacing and rejuvenation.  She's certified in the FDA approved, Pure Oxygen Facial Treatment, VI Peel, Microdermabrasion and Permanent Cosmetics. She’s combined the latest in mechanical treatments with other safe and effective "high performance" modalities to achieve optimum results for the skin. As a result, she has witnessed the expedition of wound healing, reduction in edema and erythema following laser resurfacing, chemical peels and other cosmetic procedures. 

She is serving her third year on the  Advisory Board for the North Manhattan Beach BID, which is responsible for the recent NMB beautification programs funded soley by the North Manhattan businesses. 

Over six years ago, she implimented the humble beginnings of the North Manhattan Beach "Holiday Open House & Walk About" & "Summer Stroll" which both have turned into huge annual community events.  Bernadettes responsibilities this year on the board is to help design & impliment the installation of the Manhattan Beach Gateway sign, welcoming everyone to the North Manhattan Beach area and to also add solar lighting to the business district.

Melanie McCulley - Manicurist

On completing her formal training at the Elite Academy of Skin & Nails in Florida in 1998, Melanie went to work, using high quality tools such as OPI, Essie & Harmony Gelish products to make her trademark in nail art. 

For over a decade, Melanie's skills have left customers marvelling at their manicures from elite salons and spas including, Harbor Island Athletic Club, Florida, Ola Salon and Spa, Warren Tricomi - West Hollywood and the Terrenea Spa in RPV. 

Celebrity clients including Jennifer Hudson, Molly Sims, Nicole Scherzinger and Mariah Carey already make the most of Melanie's manicuring magic! 

Whatever the occasion, Melanie's mission is the same; the creation of flawlwss nails, served with professionalism and a smile.  The result?  Durable, refined nails worthy of praise from friends, family and others.  You will love the personal service you will find nowhere else!

Sarah Joseph – Aesthetician  &  Makeup Artist

Sarah will help you achieve "the best skin you’re in!”  She gives quality facial treatments, followed by proper education for your home care regimen.  Her gentle, yet firm touch allows you to feel every movement, essential to skin health as you relax and drift away to achieving great skin.  She also specializes in eyebrow sculpture,  body waxing and has taken many classes in makeup.  She’s a pro at “dolling you up” for a party or just matching your skin with the proper makeup essentials.  Skin care is her passion and she loves working with her clients on a personal level.

Julie Toti - Aesthetician

Julie is a seasoned aesthetician with fourteen years experience. She specializes in facials, body treatments, microdermabrasion, brow design and body waxing. Julie has been written up in magazines for her expert Brazilian waxing technique. The special wax she uses gently lifts the hair while minimizing redness.

Julie graduated from the prestigious skin care institute, Pivot Point International and regularly attends continuing education courses. She customizes each facial based on your individual skin type and desired results. She has worked with aging, sensitive, rosacea and problematic skin and will educate you on how to maintain healthy, radiant skin. Julie loves to pamper and wants each client to feel relaxed and special.

Kymberly King~Massage Therapist

Kymberly began her journey in the healing arts more than fifteen years ago. After traveling abroad and living in Japan, she completed her studies at the Healing Arts College in Santa Monica.  She joined Elegance Spa in January 2012 and loves creating a space of timelessness, where her clients can let go, rejuvenate, rest and heal. She strongly believes in the power of touch to profoundly improve the quality of our lives, to change/shift physical or emotional patterns, and to generally elevate our overall health and well-being.  Soft spoken, professional and polite, she truly listens to her client's words, body and breath...

Vanessa Broin – Makeup Artist & Lash Extension Specialist

Vanessa has been working in the make-up industry for eight years.  She started working for MAC Cosmetics in Florida then later returned back to her home town Manhattan Beach in Southern California.  Her ability ranges from bridal looks to high end fashion shoots.  Vanessa’s work has been published in local magazines and she has done some work in commercial and film. 

Vanessa has always had a gift and passion for color and her enthusiasm shows through her work. She believes that every woman has the right to feel beautiful in her own skin and listens carefully to the clients needs to in order to achieve the perfect look.  Makeup is the finishing touch in the beautifying expereince and can be used to enhance or transform any face.

Georgina Stassi - Aesthetician,   Massage &  Body Treatments

Georgina is back at Elegance Spa after having her beautiful two daughters.  Her prior experience at Elegance and knowledge of horticulture has lead her back to us to treat you with the best of care!!  She specializes in aesthetics and massage with a strong and skilled touch. 

As well as being a mom, Georgina has a great spirit and has a passion for cooking, gardening, art and horsemanship!  She is also the president of www.LaVitaFresca.com ..."A  Feast for the Senses" which features the"fresh life" by revealing and reviewing the best that is fresh: farmer's markets, food and wine, events, restaurants, resorts, spas and more.
